Heavy thunderstorms in eastern Europe, hot and dry west and south

Wednesday
Mostly dry again through Spain and Portugal, though the odd isolated shower cannot be completely ruled out. Dry and sunny across the Balearics into Corsica and Sardinavia as well as Sicily. Scattered showers across central mainland Italy with most again towards the Alpine region. Western Greece will see some thundery showers but the islands look to remain dry and fine.
France sees some showers towards the far east but elsewhere here will be dry with plenty of sun. Dry and fine with sunny spells across the Netherlands. Mostly dry across Germany though the south and east will see more cloud and developing showers. Switzerland and Austria will see sunny spells and showers, some of these heavy and thundery. Unsettled with heavy downpours down the Balkan States and across eastern Europe.
Rather cloudy with some patchy rain through Denmark though conditions do look to improve here through the day. Cloud with outbreaks of rain across southern areas of Sweden and Norway. Sunny spells but also a few scattered, mostly light, showers further north. Scattered showers affecting particularly the north and far south of Finland, while staying largely dry centrally. Some rain through the Baltic States, this heavy in the morning.

Hot and dry in Spain and Portugal today, strong winds in the north too. More sunshine and hot weather in the Balearics too. Scattered showers for Sardinia and Corsica. Thunderstorms in southern Italy, fair in central and northern Italy. Greece will be hot and dry with the hot and dry weather extending through Turkey too.
France should be fair and dry, good spells of sunshine. Sunny spells too in the Low Countries. Showery rain and cloud for northern areas of Germany. Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Hungary and Austria remain dry and fair with Switzerland being dry and sunny.
Wind and showery rain clearing to showers in Denmark, cool here too. Fine for the Baltic States with dry weather. Scattered showers in Finland. Heavier showers and some longer spells of rain for Seden. Further showers and some rain in Norway, fair with sunny spells in northern Norway.
