Heavy, thundery showers for eastern Europe.
Friday Another dry and sunny day for the Iberia, but some afternoon showers over the north are possible. Afternoon showers for France, Germany and western Poland, some of them heavy. Dry and mostly sunny for the British Isles, the Low Countries, and Denmark. Rather cloudy but dry for Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Baltic States and Belarus. Some showers for Ukraine. Heavy afternoon showers and thunderstorms for Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, less intense over Slovakia and Hungary. Some showers for Romania and the Balkans. Another sunny day for the Balearics, Sardinia and Corsica as well as Italy and Greece. Dry and sunny for Turkiye and Cyprus.
Saturday A dry, fine and hot day across Spain and Portugal. Much of France is also dry and fine though there will be some showers across the far east, these easing back later in the day. Southern Germany will see cloudier skies and heavy, thundery showers, however the north remains dry with sunny spells. The Netherlands too will be dry with sunshine. Sunny spells but also showers, some heavy and thundery across Austria and Switzerland into northern Italy. Heavy and thundery showers also for Slovenia and Croatia. Isolated heavy and thundery showers developing across parts of Slovenia and Romania. Spells of rain, heavy at times, moving eastwards across Poland. Largely dry, fine and hot across the Balearics, the rest of Italy and Sicily. Also largely dry for Greece but an isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out. Largely cloudy with spells of rain and brisk winds affecting northern Norway. The odd shower further south here but otherwise dry with sunshine. Southern Sweden is cloudy with heavy, thundery showers though further north should remain dry with sunny spells. There is a brisk northerly wind keeping temperatures subdued. A wet day for Finland as a band of rain pushes eastwards across the country, clearing from the west.
